What is a puppy party?

Puppies make any occasion a paw-ty! Hold your next event at the Old Dominion Humane Society community room. Our gracious volunteers will chaperone an hour of puppy play time with your guests during your two hour event. You get all the fun & cuddles with the puppies and our volunteers will provide all supplies to care for the puppies as well as cleaning up any puppy messes.  

 

Party hosts are allowed to decorate as they deem appropriate prior to the Puppy Pawty.  However, due to the possibility of blockages in the dogs - guests are not allowed to use any type of balloon. You are welcome to arrive up to 30 min before your scheduled Pawty start time to decorate & set up your event.

 

Party goers are expected to vacate the building PROMPTLY at their scheduled event end time. Hosts are allowed 30 minutes after their end time to clean up, in order for the next party to begin on time. A $20 fee will be added for every 15 minutes additional time it takes for the booking party to completely vacate the space.

 

Paw-ty Packages: 

1) Fur-bulous Paw-ty $250 with a $100 non-refundable deposit

 - includes: Party space for up to 40 TOTAL Persons, tables and chairs, and puppies for one hour, 2 gracious volunteers to assist

2) Ulti-Mutt Paw-ty $300 with a $150 non-refundable deposit

- includes: Party space for up to 40 TOTAL Persons, table and chairs, puppies for one hour, 2 gracious volunteers to assist,  an adopt me stuffed animal party favor for the expected number of children, and a Pup-arazzi Photo Station. 

 

Deposits are due at the booking and the remainder due upon arrival at the Paw-ty scheduled event. Please note that we cannot confirm the number or types of puppies until a few days before your party as we have no way to predict what puppies will need rescuing and will be in our system until that time.

 

Party Goers are welcome to supply their own cake, drinks or Pup-eroni Pizza and have it delivered to the party space. Food cannot be available while puppies are present to ensure that party goers do not feed the puppies.  The paw-ty host can choose if the puppies will make their appearance during the first or last hour of your scheduled event.
