Chaperone Policy: To ensure a safe experience, we require at least 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children within your guest party.

Accessibility: Our event space is on the second floor and requires the use of stairs. If this presents a challenge for anyone in your group, please email us at puppyparty@olddominionhumanesociety.org so we can discuss other options to accommodate you and your guests.

The Puppy Pawty Playbook
Whatever Your Event, Puppies Are Always A Great Addition To The Pawty!
Make It Festive
Arrive up to 30 minutes before your scheduled Pawty start time to decorate and set up your event! No balloons of any type are permitted due to the hazzard they pose to the puppies.
Fun And Food
Puppies will make their appearance during the first hour of the Pawty; food may be served during the second hour. The Pawty host is welcome to supply cake, drinks, and pup-eroni pizza, and have it delivered to the Pawty. Food cannot be available while puppies are present to ensure that Pawty guests do not feed the puppies.
Let's Get This Pawty Started
Deposits are due at the time of the Pawty booking; the remainder is due upon arrival at the scheduled Pawty event. At least one adult chaperone is required for every five children within the guest party. Please note that we cannot confirm the number or types of puppies until a few days before your Pawty. Our pack of puppies is forever changing!
Pawty Punctuality
Pawty guests are expected to leave promptly at the scheduled Pawty end time. Hosts are allotted 30 minutes after the Pawty to clean up in order for the next Pawty to begin on time. A $20 fee will be added for every 15 minutes beyond the scheduled Pawty end time for the booking party to leave the space.
