The community can help Old Dominion Humane Society (ODHS) in its goal to find homes for 31 more rescue dogs to make it a total of 1,000 dogs adopted by the end of the year. ODHS has reached 969 adoptions this year and is hoping to make the rescue dogs’ holiday wishes come true at its upcoming adoption events. By browsing through the dogs that are available for adoption on the ODHS website, individuals can find their match, from puppies and adults to senior dogs. The four-legged friends will have the greatest gift of a forever family and, in return, they’ll provide love and companionship.
ODHS hosts adoption events on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Applications in advance are preferred and take priority over walk-ins. For an adoption application and to view the dogs available, visit http://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org.
